Identifying Fractions

My Reflection
In this activity my task was to identify fractions by putting the numbers next to the ones that match it.
I found this easy because I knew what they were because 1/2 of the two strip was red and the other half wasn't red.
My next steps are to try to do it faster with different fractions.

Numbers to 20

I am learning to recognise numbers to 20.  I can stand on the large number line when the number is called out.  I am also learning the before and after numbers.

Phonics

We are learning to listen and record the sounds we can hear.  We are able to blend the sounds altogether.  We can use our phonics at Story writing and Reading time to help us.

Making Pizza

We made pizza as a class, using ingredients that we had grown ourselves. 

These photos show the writing process. We started with the 'draft stage', where students try to use the skills they have been taught. After 'conferencing' with the teacher and 'editing', they produce the 'published work' for their audience to enjoy.

Paper bear

We learnt how to draw a teddy bear looking at the different shapes that make up the head and arms. We wrote about our bear and published it onto a paper bag.
